ABOUT
Catherine Ticer launched her communications company in 1994 after working for several of the largest worldwide public relations and advertising agencies. Her work has earned awards from the Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators, Ford Motor Company and the Los Angeles Publicity Club. Active within the community, Catherine has served on the boards of the Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL), Summer in the City Detroit and Association of Women in Communications, Detroit.
Her business and creative writing techniques, combined with her command of Associated Press (AP) Style, has assisted her in generating client placements in a multitude of nationally acclaimed publications including: The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, San Francisco Chronicle, The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press and the Huffington Post. Her work with television has resulted in client interviews and stories on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and the Discovery Channel. She also served on the production teams of several Emmy award-winning specials.
Catherine graduated with a degree in journalism from Michigan State University, where she was awarded the Michigan State News Scholarship. She began her career as a journalist covering business and politics for two Texas daily newspapers.
